My life as a housewife update

Ok so I am back with an update, as you can see the desk has been cleared and sorted, however, my wi-fi won't reach from my bedroom to my study so I was finding I was having to run backwards and forwards between the study and my bedroom all day.  So plan B had to be made.  As an interim measure, I moved a side board from my lounge into my bedroom and set up a very neatly appointed little BedOffice as I like to call it.  This has been an absolute win, not only do I have the aircon in my room and thus can be warm during the day, but I have wi-fi and TV, first time ever I can work at my desk and watch TV at the same time, now this is one ergonimically designed Office, even if I do say so myself.  The lip at the back of the sideboard also hides both my lap top (when closed) and in-tray at night so Grant doesn't have to feel like his bedroom has been turned into a cubicle.

I need this Tory Burch Key Chain, ok, really, I don't Need it, I would like it though, it really is very pretty and would look smashing on my car keys.

I am fortunate enough to not Need anything, I think all a person really needs deep down, is love and that I have an abundance of, from my parents, husband, daughter, sister, family and wonderful friends.  I am truly blessed to have so many loving people in my life.

My mother, my absolute rock, no matter where or what has been going on, she is always there for me 100%.  She has always said "you walk with your children to the grave" meaning, no matter how old your children get, you are always concerned,  worried & proud of them.  My mother is an extremely strong woman and holds our family together, she has raised two very strong daughters who were not afraid to go out into the world and succeed.  I love you, and I am proud to call you My Mum

#Fmsphotoaday Something beginning with F

This makes me giggle, after 22 year of corporate heels of pumps I now find myself in slippers most of the day.  The weather has really started to turn to winter and it is really nice to walk around all day in fluffy warm slippers, yay to my housewife life. (as a side note, I do put shoes on when I leave the house, I am not one of those people who you see walking around the shops in their slippers, I haven't sunk that low as yet)

#fmsphotoaday Broken

This is so sad, I broke my Blackberry, it was on my side table next to my bed and I knocked an entire glass of water over it, I dried her off as best as I could and left her in rice for a couple of days, but the damage was done, in protest to having an unwanted bath, she went mental, the keyboard didn't work, the screen flashed on and off all day like some psychedelic rave, then I could only use the keyboard on the screen but that would only work when it was closed and when it was closed the screen would go blank.  So it was tome to eventually decide what replacement phone I should get, after tooing and froing for a considerable amount of time I settled on the Samsung S3, it arrived and I hated it, the thing is huge, thats not a phone its like a mini tablet, so back it went.  With no other viable option left I got the new i-phone 5, seems to make sense seeing as I have the Mac, i-pad & i-pod already, so now the apple family is complete, i must say I am enjoyng the new phone, just haven't figured out how to put her on silent (bit awkward when I was at the cinema the other day)

I have taken to drinking tea these days, however I can't drink it hot, so I have been making large jugs of flavored tea, with a little honey and decanting it into fridge water coolers, then drinking "iced tea" throughout the day.  Have to say it is way healthier than my 1 a day Red Bull Habit that I seem to have kicked, whoop whoop.

A cup of yummy Chinese te to start the day. This one is called "Seven Angels". It is made by hand from tender spring picked green tea buds, jasmine and marigold flowers. During infusion the seven flowers open gradually one on top of the other depicting the seven angels floating gently in your tea
